The Study is how a commission starts: your room scanned to the millimeter, your piece designed in parametric 3D, and a firm proposal you can hold us to. It costs $1,250 — and every dollar is credited to your build. If we build for you, the design cost you nothing.
J.T. comes to the house and LIDAR-scans the room — about an hour. Every wall, outlet, vent, and out-of-square corner lands in the model.
One developed concept, drawn in-house as a true parametric 3D model: your space, your materials, your equipment. Photorealistic views included.
A firm, fixed proposal in 3–5 business days — not an estimate, not a range. The number holds because the room was measured before it was priced.
One revision round is included. Further exploration is quoted before it happens, never after.
What it isn't
The Study covers the millwork: design, materials, fabrication, and install. Trade work beyond the piece — new electrical circuits, plumbing, structural changes — is identified in the proposal and carried by licensed trades, coordinated but priced separately. Existing-condition assumptions are written down, so the firm number stays firm.
